■Grant Aid
Grant Aid is a form of assistance that provides non-repayable funds to developing countries and regions to support their economic and social development.
It is implemented based on requests from recipient governments. Under this scheme, the Government of Japan provides funds for such purpose as construction of facilities, procurement of goods and services necessary for economic and social development, while recipient governments carry out the projects using these funds.

■Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects “KUSANONE”<GGP>
The KUSANONE is a framework that essentially supports local NGOs and local public organizations that are working in eligible countries and regions, rather than the governments of those countries, in order to respond to various development needs in a prompt and precise manner, but on a comparatively small scale.
