PALM10: Turning the Japan-Solomon Islands Promise into Reality
At the 10th Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting (PALM10) held in 2024, Japan pledged to strengthen cooperation in "financial infrastructure" with its partner nations, including the Solomon Islands.
This initiative is a concrete embodiment of that commitment. Through the development of CBDC and savings bond systems, Japan remains dedicated to supporting a resilient, modern, and convenient financial ecosystem for the people of Solomon Islands.
