Courtesy Call by the Premier of Choiseul Province

On 18th June, the Premier of Choiseul Province, Hon. Harrison Pitakaka paid a courtesy call on Ambassador HIGUCHI.
Premier Pitakaka expressed his appreciation for Japan’s assistance to Choiseul Province over the years and stated his desire to continue strengthening and developing both Japan–Solomon Islands relations and the relationship between Japan and Choiseul Province.
The two sides exchanged views on the importance of education and employment opportunities for young people, the provision of better health services, and the need for improved waste management.
The Government of Japan will continue to listen to the challenges faced by Choiseul Province and support its development.
