A courtesy call from Returning JICA volunteer

On 1st December, Ambassador HIGUCHI received a courtesy call from JICA volunteer Mr Ando who is returning to Japan after completing his assignment as a physical education teacher at a primary school at St. Nicholas College.
Ambassador HIGUCHI expressed his appreciation for the volunteer’s contributions and shared that what he heard from Solomon Islands government officials and local communities, JICA volunteers’ activities are highly valued and deeply appreciated.
The Ambassador also conveyed his personal gratitude as a Japanese citizen for a big foot print Mr Ando has made as a representative of Japan’s human resource and reiterated the significance of the JICA volunteer’s achievements.
