The Signing Ceremony for “The Project for Procurement of Fire Truck for the Fire and Rescue Services, the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force” under the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) programme

On 17th March, 2023, Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) was held at the Embassy of Japan. Ambassador Yoshiaki MIWA signed a contract with Mr. Stephen Dekyi, Director, The Fire and Rescue Services, RSIPF.
 
The Government of Japan will provide grant assistance up to US$39,913, which will provide used fire truck to The Fire and Rescue Services, RSIPF. This Firefighting equipment is essential to provide protection to the essential infrastructure and buildings around Honiara City. This assistance will boost The Fire and Rescue Services operational capabilities and ensure the safety of people and properties.
