Foreign Minister Hayashi's visit to Solomon Islands

 On 19^th March, Mr. HAYASHI Yoshimasa, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan arrived in Solomon Islands where he had a meeting with Hon. Manele and paid a courtesy call on Hon. Sogavare. After a luncheon hosted by Minister Manele, he visited Mt. Austin, FFA, Maritime Police and Hell’s Point. This is the first visit by a Japanese Foreign Minister to Solomon Islands since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1978.
