The Signing Ceremony for “The Project for Construction of Dormitories for Hovi Community High School” under the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) programme

On 10th November, 2022, Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) was held at the Embassy of Japan. Ambassador Yoshiaki MIWA signed a contract with Mr. Forres Gilbert, Principal, Hovi Community High School.
The Government of Japan will provide grant assistance up to US$86,745, which will provide new dormitories for boys and girls to Hovi Community High School. This assistance will provide appropriate learning and living environment for the students in Hovi Community.

Amount of Grant: US$ 86,745 (approximately 704,100 Solomon dollars)
Purpose: New dormitories
