On 9th November, 2022, Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) was held at the Embassy of Japan. Ambassador Yoshiaki MIWA signed a contract with Mr. Ray Menia, Principal, Ilia Community High School.
The Government of Japan will provide grant assistance up to US$79,838, which will provide a new classroom building to Ilia Community High School. This assistance will provide appropriate learning environment for the students in Ilia Community.

Amount of Grant: US$ 79,838 (approximately 648,000 Solomon dollars)
Purpose: A new classroom building
