On 7th November, 2022, Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) was held at the Embassy of Japan. Ambassador Yoshiaki MIWA signed a contract with Mr. John SELE, RWASH Programme Senior Health Inspector, The Health and Medical Services Division of Western Provincial Government, Environmental Health Division.
The Government of Japan will provide grant assistance up to US$76,770, which will provide a new water supply to Ha’apai Community. This assistance will provide access to clean water for the people in Ha’apai Community and improve living environment and public health.

Amount of Grant: US$ 76,770 (approximately 623,640 Solomon dollars)
Purpose: A new water supply
The Government of Japan will provide grant assistance up to US$76,770, which will provide a new water supply to Ha’apai Community. This assistance will provide access to clean water for the people in Ha’apai Community and improve living environment and public health.
