Ambassador MIWA Yoshiaki attended to the graduation ceremony of Siota Provincial Secondary School

On 29th of September, Ambassador Miwa attended the graduation ceremony of Siota Provincial Secondary School located in Nggela Pile in Central Province as a guest of honor by invitation. Siota Provincial Secondary School was established in late nineteenth century under the British colonial rule as one of the oldest secondary schools in the country.
Ambassador Miwa mentioned in his congratulatory speech that “As Solomon Islands has rich natural environment and abundant resource, the country has a big potential to develop the society and economy through development of agriculture, forestry and fishing industry. I expect graduates to contribute to the development of Solomon Islands by acquiring knowledges and techniques to take advantage of the rich natural environment and abundant resource.”.
After the graduation ceremony, Ambassador Miwa toured the school facility, and participated in an introduction program of traditional culture by the students.
