The Signing Ceremony for “The Project for Construction of Classroom Building for Beiporo Primary School” under the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) programme

On 30th March, 2022, Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) was held at the Embassy of Japan. Mr. Norimasa Yoshida, Charge d'Affaires ad interim signed a contract with Mr. Robson Apusae, Head Teacher, Beiporo Primary School.
The Government of Japan will provide grant assistance up to US$86,666, which will provide a new classroom building to Beiporo Primary School. This school has been unable to provide an appropriate educational environment due to the lack of reliable space. This assistance will enable the school to provide appropriate educational environment to students and contribute to the socio-economic development of Solomon Islands through giving students opportunities for quality education.

Purpose: A new Classroom Building
